1. How provider roles work

When Murphy determines why and how website visitor information is used, Murphy is the controller and the provider generally acts as our processor or service provider. When Murphy handles personal information only on an agency partner's documented instructions, Murphy may act as a processor and a provider below may act as a sub-processor.

A provider may also act as an independent controller for limited service-generated, account, or interaction information under its own privacy notice. The precise role depends on the feature and governing agreement.

2. Website and inquiry providers

3. Providers used for client service delivery

Client engagements may require additional hosting, advertising, analytics, automation, communications, payment, accounting, file-storage, project-management, or production platforms selected for the scoped service. The relevant service agreement, project scope, or customer instruction controls those systems and the information supplied to them.

Agency partners should provide end-client personal information only when it is necessary for the deliverable. Contact support@murphyconsulting.us before sharing regulated or sensitive data so the correct contractual and security requirements can be reviewed.

4. Access, safeguards, and changes

Access is limited according to production need. Where Murphy acts as a processor, providers that process customer personal data are engaged under applicable confidentiality and data-protection terms.

Murphy may replace or add providers as services change. This page will be updated before or when a material new provider begins processing website personal information, subject to any notice rights in an applicable customer agreement.

Questions about a provider, transfer safeguard, or customer-specific sub-processor list can be sent to support@murphyconsulting.us.
